Compositions
Austin Draws from his knowledge of music history for inspiration, focusing on early classical and baroque, but has more recently been inspired by the mid 1800s and impressionist french composers like Ravel, Satie, and Debussy. With a background in Music Education, Austin uses his rudimentary experience of all band and orchestra instruments to write idiomatic music, so that it is easier to perform and brings the best sound out of each instrument.
He is currently working on the music for a mini documentary by Vettpdx, a mycologist and photographer.
